Join the Crowd…
[I wrote this a long time ago...I think it was late 2008...never published it...but here it is. I sort of knew something then that I completely understand now. I'm glad I saved it.]
This is unedited so excuse grammatical errors like run-ons and missed punctuation and other stuff that doesn’t seem to fit. (I don’t even know what a run-on is. I’m sure some of you do.)
I spent the evening answering emails to long lost friends and people I know from all over. It’s amazing how cool some people can be. As I was writing personal things I decided that this blog is something I should give up because Thirty Seconds is my deal…my belief…and why does it matter what I think beyond that?
I’m not sure I will keep this going…but I feel like posting tonight…and so I will. It’s probably because I’m starting to see that people really DO care more than I thought…and that is awesome. This is what I see now that I didn’t see before:
Despite the shit…on a night like tonight…I realize that we are all in this mess together. Those of us who don’t understand that…and isolate ourselves (from the bad things)…are the miserable ones.
I don’t know. I just felt like passing this on. Open up to people…as much as you can…and I’m telling you you’ll live a better life…and a deeper Thirty Seconds. (But check the gruesome details at the door. No one wants to hear that stuff.) Over and out…
