So what is Thirty Seconds all about?
The Elevator Pitch...
Our :30 Seconds is a journey on which we are both passenger and pilot. We make hopeful choices every moment of every day, some more noteworthy than others. Ultimately these choices fill our “30″ and create our destiny.
It’s not the most original of ideas, I’ll grant you that. I had a friend point out to me that everyone knows that life “flashes before your eyes” when you die.
I’ve heard it before, but I feel that my little wrinkle on that cliché gives us a more finite, touchable idea of what that flash must be like. “Thirty Seconds” is easier to quantify than “a life.”
After my wife’s cancer diagnosis I decided that there is an urgency to filling our lives…our :30 Seconds…with moments and actions that leave us full…and content.
