Breathing After Thanksgiving…
Sometimes I forget that a blog is something we do to share thoughts and goings on in our lives. I really have no time for this…but I’ve missed writing since my last post on Thanksgiving Day so here goes.
Thanksgiving…
I can tell you that Thanksgiving was not as sad as I thought it would be…and so I’m thankful. We had our moments of course…a few tears…but there were highlights as well. The most memorable one for me was when I gathered the kids together in a circle…and even though it was weird…we had a group hug and told each other how much we loved each other.
Really…what more can someone ask for?
My first Thirty Seconds Event…
One of the reasons I have less time for blog posts is that I get to prepare my talk for our very first Thirty Seconds Event. It’s called Take a Breath and it’s the first step towards achieving my ultimate goal of hosting Thirty Seconds Events throughout the country.
The events are going to be more a party than anything else. I want it to be a time for people to take a breath from a life that can be sort of mean sometimes. That’s my dream anyway…and I want this first one to be as good as it can be.
So I’m going to go practice my speech now…and take yet another step into this new life of ours. It really is a trip you know that? Life…

I am never quite sure what to say. I am glad Thanksgiving was “not as sad as you thought it would be”. I know it’s not easy and I think you should be proud of yourself.

Congrats on your event and I know you will do fine. We can all use a “breather” from life-that’s why I love visiting your blog.
